Amelie Aust, manager of Fall Creek’s new business, product development and licensing department, will be a featured speaker at the Global Berry Congress on April 7, 2011, in Monterey, California. Amelie will address the topic of intellectual property rights within the segment on “New Frontiers For Varietal Development.”
Amelie completed her law studies at the Max Planck Institute in Germany and specializes in global strategies for fruit crop patents, plant breeder rights, trademarks and commercialization models, with a focus on berries. We’ll be sure to give an update on Amelie’s presentation and the 2011 Global Berry Congress.
