Exclusive to Fall Creek Genetics®, Ventura blueberries are the first Southern Highbush release from Fall Creek®’s breeding program. It is a vigorous upright plant and has produced high yields of early ripening fruit at our research trial sites. The Ventura blueberry is large sized, firm, medium blue in color and ripens shortly after Snowchaser. Ventura blueberries are a Low Chill variety that adapts well to Zero Chill, evergreen management and is recommended for commercial plantings in No and Low Chill growing regions that target the earliest high quality fresh markets.
