A Quick Update from One of Oregon’s R&D Farms

A big thank-you to our research team for safely continuing their work on the R&D farms during this difficult time. Fall Creek is determined to continue bringing our customers blueberry varieties of the future. This means not missing any window for data collection for timely registration so new varieties can get out for preview in growers’ fields without delay.

In this picture, Product Manager Emily GuynnMiller, documents immature flower bud coloration – a single part of a detailed process that includes gathering data on every aspect of the plant. Our Mid + High Chill breeding farm in Oregon is in full bloom and pollination has been excellent. Excited for another season of breeding and evaluation. We will continue to report as the season progresses!
