Alberto Medina-Mora to Lead Fall Creek® US & Mexico

I am pleased to announce the promotion of Alberto Medina-Mora to the newly created position of Regional Director – US & Mexico, reporting to me. In his new expanded role, Alberto will have responsibility for both the Mexico and the US/Canada businesses. The effective date for this change will be Aug. 1, 2022, aligned with the retirement of Matt Kramer, current Interim Regional Director - US/Canada, retiring effective July 29, 2022.

Alberto joined Fall Creek as Regional Director – Mexico, in April 2020 during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. After a successful virtual onboarding, he led the development of the Mexico team through enhanced internal partnerships and a strong focus on the customer, initiated and developed the employee health & safety department and expanded export capabilities. Under his leadership, our presence with customers in their fields has increased, we have expanded the hectares and fruit volumes under our licensing programs, and we have consistently met or exceeded budget targets year on year.

As Fall Creek continues to grow and expand, our organizational structure must be flexible and agile to meet new challenges. Our structure should capitalize on opportunities as they present themselves, as well as offer significant individual and career development opportunities.

Cort and I are grateful for Alberto’s humble leadership and commitment to our values and feel fortunate to now have him represent both the US/Canada and Mexico businesses on the Executive team. Personally, beyond driving near-term business results, I foremost look forward to witnessing how Alberto applies his proven leadership abilities to the continued development of the teams, stewardship of our culture and community well-being, in now both the US and Mexico.

Reporting to Alberto will be the Fall Creek US/Canada Leadership Team, comprised of Val Shepler – Commercial Manager, Dave Daniel–Operations Manager, Christian Neira–HR Manager, Kristin Henshen-Controller, and Lance Keith Inventory & Purchasing Manager, as well as the Mexico Leadership Team comprised of Ricardo Marquez-Commercial Manager, Marco Padilla–Operations Manager, Efrain Rodriquez–HR Manager and Cesar Navarro-Controller.
