The area of Oregon where Fall Creek’s corporate headquarters are located has been hit by a severe winter storm – unusual for this area. We currently have 15-20” of snow in areas. To make matters worse, the snow-loads and heavy ice have caused tremendous damage and have taken down powerlines and snapping electrical wires. There are thousands of homes in the area with no power since Monday.
Our offices in Lowell, Oregon are currently closed due to no power. Managers and key personnel are working remotely and responding to emails and business matters. Propagation and production teams are hard at work tending to our crops, thanks to generators.
What matters most is the safety and welfare of our employees, their families and our community at large. We urge all to remain safe, stay away from any power lines and large trees.
We sincerely thank our customers and vendors for your support and understanding during this challenging time. Please know we will respond as quickly as possible to you. The weather trend is reported to be improving which should start to bring relief. And hopefully utility crews will be able to restore power quickly.
We will keep you updated on any new developments.
